Right, it’s time to start thinking about which festivals we are attending next year! A new one that we are recommending is Breaking Bands Festival in Bromsgrove.
The festival recently got short-listed for ‘Best New Festival’ by the UK Festival Awards. This was for their efforts at the first event, that we attended last year. Seeing the progression of interest in the festival, organisers have expanded the capacity by a massive 40%. Next years festival is already looking to be a bigger and better event, and they are already doing very well with ticket sales.

Next years festival is headlined by Blaze Bailey (former Iron Maiden vocalist), joining him on the bill is Evil Masquerade and Reign of Fury.
The recently announced sub-headliners consist of Wretched Toad (Friday), Trucker Diablo (Saturday) and Black State Highway (Sunday). Each of these bands although quite different from each other, all put on astounding performances. Breaking Bands Festival is never short of talent, showcasing a host of impressive performances.
First announced via video on the Breaking Bands Festival Facebook page were punk rockers Bedhed, followed by hard rockers Black Star Bullet. Next up was heavy rockers Valouse, organiser Mucka Jay said “we chose Valous as they are a great band who came and supported the 2015 festival. As part of our promise to support the scene we said any band who buys a ticket to watch this years event will be first on the list for next year” and he kept that promise.
Next up a band that like to compare themselves to liquorice allsorts, A Jokers Rage were announced, followed by more hard rockers Guts For Glory!
Classic rockers Black Whiskey will also take the stage, along with more of those much loved hard rockers Chasing Dragons. Recently on tour with the band Clutch is a blues rock band from Bristol, Welcome Back Delta.
