Alter Bridge reveal new track ‘Show Me A Leader’

 Alter Bridge announced last month that their 5th album The Last Hero will hit shelves this October, once again collaborating with Michael ‘Elvis’ Baskette (working previously on Blackbird, AB3 and Fortress) as producer.  

‘Show Me A Leader’ is the first single to be released from the new album, and while the sound is what we expect from Alter Bridge there is something very refreshing about this. Lyrically, front-man Myles Kennedy said, “It reflects the frustrations that a lot of people are feeling with the current state of the world, the world is looking for trustworthy effective leadership and not this undignified dog and pony show that’s really made a mockery of our system.”  

The band have also released a Track by Track “making of…” Video that gives us a bit more info on how the song was originally crafted and how the idea of lyrics came about. This will probably set the foundation for the tone for the rest of the album.  

Alter Bridge will be hitting the road in the UK this Autumn.
