Bowling For Soup reveal new compilation album!

Texan punk-pop icons Bowling For Soup have announced a brand new compilation album, Songs People Actually Liked – Volume 1 -The First 10 Years (1994- 2003),  to be released on January 26th 2015. This release celebrates their early material, including super-sized hits ‘Punk Rock 101’, ‘The Bitch Song’ and of course, Bowling For Soup’s Grammy-nominated number one single ‘Girl All The Bad Guys Want’.

You might be thinking “hang on, isn’t there already a Bowling For Soup ‘Best Of”?” In short: yes – but this was put out by the record company and the band themselves didn’t even know it existed until months later.  The 2015 release is hand picked and re-recorded by BFS themselves. These songs have not been ‘redone’ (no re-arrangements, no lyric changes, etc.) yet re-recorded material that is up to 20 years old. The album also includes a brand new song.

Front man Jaret Reddick had this to say: “It’s been so cool to hear these songs come to life again and all in one place. It’s amazing what 20 years of playing, singing and technology can do. Everything just sounds amazing!”
