Rewind 2020

PLEASE NOTE: IN LIGHT OF THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC THE REWIND FESTIVALS FOR 2020 ARE POSTPONED UNTIL 2021…

“We are saddened to announce that Rewind Scotland, Rewind North, and Rewind South will no longer take place this year. The health and safety of all Rewinders, the artists, staff and community will always be our top priority, and it became clear that rescheduling the festivals was unavoidable.

“We have spoken with all the artists involved and are so grateful to them and the venues, and we are excited to announce that we will be rescheduling the dates to next year.”

New Rewind Festival 2021 dates: REWIND SCOTLAND 23-25 JULY, 2021,  REWIND NORTH 6-8 AUGUST, 2021, REWIND SOUTH 20-22 AUGUST, 2021

 “Your Tickets, Parking, Glamping, Moorings, V.I.P, When Nature Calls, Campervans, Caravans etc. will all be valid for these new dates.

 “We are working closely with our ticketing partners and they will be in touch with you very soon by email. Please only contact them if you have not been contacted after 7 working days as they are very busy at this time.

“We look forward to seeing you all in 2021. For now, Stay Safe, Stay Home and look after each other.”

Rewind The 80s Music Festival, the world’s first and biggest 80s music festival, returns with three UK festivals spread throughout the UK this summer.

Each festival will be opened by a unique show celebrating 50 years since the formation of one of the world’s biggest rock bands – Queen.

Queen Symphonic features a full symphony orchestra, rock band and four soloists from the international productions of the musical We Will Rock Youperforming some of Queen’s greatest hits including ‘’We Will Rock You’, ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’, ‘Radio Ga Ga’, ‘We Are The Champions’, ‘A Kind Of Magic’ and many more.

Rewind Scotland will be celebrate its 10-year-anniversary at Scone Palace in Perth from Friday 17th through to Sunday19th July. Rock fans can see the likes of From The Jam, The Blow Monkeys, Altered Images and T’Pau perform live at this show.

From Friday 31st July  to Sunday 2nd August, Rewind Northreturns to Capesthorne Hall in Macclesfieldand concludes on Sunday 2nd August. Acts likely to interest more rock orientated audiences include Go West, Altered Images, Katrina from Katrina & The Waves and China Crisis

Last but not least, Rewind South will round up this 80s summer celebration season at Temples Island Meadows in Henley-on-Thames from Friday 14th – 16th August.  Acts include additional performances by Go West and Katrina from Katrina & The Waves, plus Cutting Crew, Peter Hook & The Light andCaptain Sensible.

Alongside the acts is a brand-new street food area with a range of festival culinary treats cooked fresh; Club Tropicana – “the drinks aren’t free” – an 80s club in a massive big top featuring a host of star DJs over the weekend and the Electro Picture Lounge where you can chill out watching classic videos, documentaries and 80s film footage. Rounding up an unforgettable weekend are the camping and glamping options alongside theme bars, fancy dress, funfair, theme bars, a kid zone, fireworks and more besides.
