The Blackout New Album + Tour + Signings

The Blackout are staring the year with a bang! The welsh party starters will be heading out on a UK tour with Sonic Boom Six! During the tour new single ‘Running Scared’ and new album ‘Start The Party’ are set for release. Both will be released on 21st January 2012 via Cooking Vinyl.

The new high-energy album is sure to become a rock and roll party classic, this is a whole album to put next to your Andrew WKs ‘Party Hard’ single! ‘Start The Party’ is 11 tracks of party, Gavin Butler (Vocalist) says:

“Music can be a great form of escapism and we tried to fully encapsulate that with this record ….There’s a lot of bands out there at the moment that do deal with this depression and the shit state of the world, but that’s just not us. We wanted to write about enjoying yourself and not worrying about things. Take a half hour out of your life, switch off and hear something fun!”
