Bloodstock: 17 more bands announced

Just when you thought there were enough big names to keep rockin’ out all weekend. Bloodstock have announced 17 more bands to the line-up.

On the Ronnie James Dio main stage is the newly re-named Entombed AD (formerly ‘Entombed’) who are back after a year of internal struggles and celebrating their new album ‘Back to Front’.

Bands added to the Sophie Lancaster stage are:

  • Monument
  • Gethika
  • Krow
  • Aaron Keylock

On the Jagermeister stage:

  • Undersmile
  • King Creature
  • Massive Wagons
  • Orphaned Land (acoustic set)
  • Rabid Bitch Of The North
  • The Heteric Order

Hobgoblin New Blood stage:

  • No Sin Evades His Gaze
  • Born Of The Jackal
  • Today The Sun Dies
  • Warcrab
  • Byzanthian Neckbeard

All bands on the New Blood stage are submissions from the ‘Metal 2 The Masses’ competition, and Bloodstock are looking for more bands!

All of the above bands will be joining already announced acts: Megadeth, Saxon, Emporer, Down, Lacuna Coil and many more on August 7-10.

Entombed AD frontman LG Petrov is looking forward to playing Bloodstock, he had this to say:

“England!  Long time no see!!  And what better way is there than to come to play at Bloodstock Festival in August!  We are looking forward to meeting all you headbangers again!”
