Live Review: Ugly Kid Joe @ Hard Rock Hell

Ugly Kid Joe – Stage 1 – Saturday

Team RAM went down to Hard Rock Hell in Hafan Y Mor, Pwhelli (Wales) to check out the headliners of Saturday night’s antics, Ugly Kid Joe. From what we witnessed, there was not a better choice than the Californian rockers who have graced us with head banging tunes for the past twenty odd years.

Ugly Kid Joe had the biggest crowd reaction of the entire festival by far. Whit Crane trained the crowd like a pack of savage wolves, hanging off his every movement. The hit single ‘Cats In The Cradle’ triggered a roar of voices to rise up over the sea of rippling bodies, forming a room full of intimate vibes and mutual adrenalin rushes. The highlight of the set was during ‘God Damn Devil’ where the band invited Area 51 to join them on stage for a collective circus act. People on stilts and women wearing items of clothing that leaves nothing to the imagination was welcomed by the crowd as they jumped and danced with them. If there’s one band that can start a party that everyone will remember, it’s got to be Ugly Kid Joe.

We couldn’t resist whipping our camera out when Area 51 joined Ugly Kid Joe on stage! Catch a bit of the bands Motorhead cover of ‘Ace of Spades’ at the end of the video!

  1. Hello superb website! Does running a blog such as this take a massive amount work?

I’ve virtually no knowledge of computer programming however I had been hoping to start my own blog in the
near future. Anyhow, if you have any suggestions or techniques for new blog owners please share.
I know this is off topic however I simply needed to ask.
