Bloodstock 2025

Bloodstock 2025

Bloodstock is excited to collaborate with alternative merchandise brand EMP to showcase emerging metal talent ready to take over the EMP Stage this August. Featuring a blend of new artists and underground acts, these bands embody the vibrant diversity and high energy of the UK and European metal scene!

Thrash Attack: Speed, Aggression, and Riff-Fuelled Chaos

Yorkshire’s DESOLATOR are proudly carrying the torch for old-school thrash, promising a performance packed with high-speed precision and undeniable impact. Hailing from South Wales, newcomers HELLDOWN are set to make their mark, delivering a lethal combination of raw aggression and tight musicianship. Adding a punk-infused edge to the thrash onslaught, Aberdeen’s THRASHIST REGIME commandos are preparing to unleash pure, riff-driven mayhem.

Into the Abyss: Doom, Sludge, and Atmospheric Heaviness

For those who prefer their metal to plumb darker, more ponderous depths, several acts will deliver. LUST RITUAL promises a descent into a doom-laden occult ceremony, weaving haunting atmospheres with crushing heaviness. Hertfordshire’s ORME, a self-proclaimed “slowest power trio,” will explore the realms of drone and sludge, conjuring soundscapes of tectonic weight. Similarly, Worcester’s PHON, a heavy sludge and grunge trio, will serve up a potent concoction of thick, resonant riffs and angsty, memorable hooks.

Orchestral Grandeur and Cinematic Soundscapes

The EMP Stage will also cater to those who appreciate a more epic and layered approach to metal. SHRIKE are set to deliver an ambient and orchestral experience, creating a truly cinematic sound perfect for fans of grand, immersive metal. Scottish symphonic metalheads CROWN SOLACE will bring their own brand of majesty, featuring soaring vocal performances and a rich, cinematic grandeur.

Progressive Journeys

Edinburgh’s TIBERIUS are set to showcase their brand of progressive rock, already having garnered a cult following with their high live energy and impressive technical play. Offering a distinct sonic experience, Sheffield’s Z MACHINE will introduce their sax-driven heavy groove sound.

Death Metal’s Old-School Brutality and Metalcore’s Modern Might

Upholding the traditions of extreme metal, Belfast’s INSIDIOUS VOID are prepared to unleash uncompromising old-school death metal brutality, delivered with a fresh and potent venom. Nottingham’s THE FIVE HUNDRED, melodic metalcore juggernauts, arrive fresh from a sold-out hometown show.

Classic Metal and Raw Power

RITES TO RUIN are geared up to deliver classic metal stylings, tailor-made for the energy of a festival stage. For an unadulterated, no-frills metal experience, BAD SMELL will hit hard with a raw intensity reminiscent of a frenetic pub brawl. Meanwhile, MAATKARE will offer a unique thematic experience, bringing Egyptian history and mythos to life through fierce, empowering riffs and a commanding stage presence.
