Bloodstock has announced a new partnership for 2026, with Westons Stowford Press coming on board as the official sponsor of the Metal 2 The Masses scheme and the New Blood Stage.

Stowford Press is crafted by Herefordshire cider makers Westons Cider, an independent, family owned business with over 145 years of expertise. Using only locally sourced cider apples from within 50 miles of their mill and allowing the juice to mature slowly, it’s a process rooted in heritage, patience, and craft. It’s a philosophy Bloodstock understands well.

For the uninitiated, Metal 2 The Masses is Bloodstock‘s nationwide (and increasingly international) battle to the stage. Unsigned and self released bands enter local heats, fight through live rounds, and one champion from each region earns a coveted slot on the Stowford Press New Blood Stage this August.

Simon Hall, Bloodstock‘s M2TM organiser, says: “The talent we see every year is phenomenal, and it’s an honour to provide a platform for these bands to showcase their hard work and passion. This is what metal is all about: community and supporting each other.”

Heats for 2026 are already underway across 28 UK regions, with Cyprus and Norway also taking part. Winners will be announced from late spring onwards. If you’re in an unsigned or self released band, get in touch with the promoter in your nearest region before it’s too late. Full details on venues and how to enter can be found at bloodstock.uk.com.

Bloodstock‘s 25th anniversary lineup is shaping up to be something truly special, with RJD headliners Lamb of God, Slaughter to Prevail, Judas Priest, and Saxon. Sophie Lancaster stage headliners include Cryptopsy (None So Vile 30 year anniversary set), Wednesday 13, Leprous, and Carpenter Brut. You’ll also be able to see Body Count, Sepultura, Municipal Waste, Death Angel, Testament, Northlane, Bleed From Within, Kittie, Nevermore, and many more.

Weekend tickets are sold out, but day tickets are still available for £99 (+fees). Child tickets are also available and under 4s attend for free. With more bands and entertainment still to be announced, this 25th anniversary celebration is going to be one for the ages.
