Cruise to the Edge 2026: Prog Rock’s Ultimate Floating Festival Celebrates 10 Years

Cruise to the Edge 2026

Cruise to the Edge 2026

There’s something undeniably appealing about the idea of a festival cruise. No mud, no camping, just five nights of progressive rock on the open sea with a margarita in hand. I’ve always wanted to do one of these, and honestly, Cruise to the Edge 2026 looks like a fine option.

The world’s premier progressive rock cruise experience marks its 10th anniversary this March 4th to 9th, sailing out of Miami aboard the Norwegian Pearl and visiting Key West and Nassau, Bahamas. Dubbed the Voyage of Mechanical Resonance, the final lineup has now been confirmed and it’s a properly stacked bill.

Headlining are Marillion, Steve Hackett, Big Big Train, and Eddie Jobson. That’s four corners of prog royalty right there. Marillion remain one of the most emotionally powerful live acts in the genre, Steve Hackett continues to be the undisputed keeper of the Genesis flame, Big Big Train are riding high off their ambitious new concept album Woodcut, and Eddie Jobson brings serious pedigree from his time with UK and Roxy Music.

Beyond the headliners, the roster runs deep. Prog metal titans Symphony X are joined by Adrian Belew, Haken, Lifesigns, The Flower Kings, and Queensrÿche. Newcomers to the cruise include the Pete Roth Trio featuring Bill Bruford, Wishbone Ash, Airbag, and Claudio Simonetti’s Goblin. Canadian duo Crown Lands, French progressive heavyweights Klone, and rising acts Earthside, Temic, and Kyros round things out alongside Lari Basilio, District 97, and more.

It’s not just about the music either. The cruise features artist Q&As, photo experiences, theme nights, and the brilliant sounding CTTE Late Night Live, where fans can actually perform alongside headline acts. That’s the kind of thing that separates a cruise like this from your standard festival experience.

Limited cabins remain available from $1,649 per person (double occupancy). For booking details, visit CruiseToTheEdge.com.
