Massive Wagons are set to release their first live album, Live At The Great Hall, on 27th March 2026 via Earache Records, and they’re marking the occasion with something genuinely special.

The record captures two sold out hometown shows at Lancaster University’s Great Hall last September, a venue that hadn’t hosted a rock gig in forty years. We’re talking about a room where The Who, Black Sabbath and Queen once played. That’s proper rock and roll history, and the Wagons brought it roaring back to life.

The first taste arrives with ‘Fun While It Lasted’, out now. It’s a fun rock track from a band who continues to gain momentum among UK rock fans, and if you’ve seen them live, you know exactly what to expect: pure energy, crowd sing alongs, and that infectious Northern swagger.

“We’ve been knocking around the idea of a live album for years now,” guitarist Adam Thistlewaite explains. “In these Lancaster University Great Hall shows, we have a great story in bringing live music back to an iconic venue.”

Frontman Barry Mills puts it simply: “We’ve wanted to capture the atmosphere of a Wagons gig for a long time. The crowd, the feel, the joy.”

To celebrate the release, the band are hosting three intimate shows at Barnoldswick Music & Arts Centre on 27th and 28th March. With only 60 tickets per show, these events will feature performances, a Q&A, and conversations with special guests including original Great Hall promoter Barry Lucas. Attendees get an exclusive alternate artwork signed CD sleeve and goodie bag.

This follows a triumphant run for the Lancaster lads, with Earth To Grace hitting number one on the UK Rock Chart and cracking the top five of the Official UK Top 40. They’ve shared stages with Myles Kennedy, The Darkness, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Status Quo, and torn through Download, Wacken and Grasspop.

The band head out on their Everywhere We Go UK Tour in April 2026, hitting Norwich, Leicester, Aberdeen, Hull and more.

Live At The Great Hall is available on picture disc vinyl, yellow and black merge vinyl, and signed CD editions. Pre order now at earache.com.
