Victory‘ is the latest single from Swiss melodic rockers Fighter V, taken from their forthcoming new album, Déjà Vu, due out on 10th April from Frontiers Music Srl.

“‘Victory‘ is a song with a strong message, highlighting the mentality and name of the band,” declared Fighter V. “It tells the story of a young man being new in a no man’s town, facing what it means to be the stranger. Against all odds, obstacles and antipathy he’s roughly experiencing, his strong heart and courage allow him to unleash the chance of victory inside of himself instead of waiting for it to come.”

Reflecting on how the song connects to today’s battles with wellbeing, the band noted: “You could say it is a motivating call for the listener to go and take the chance and trust in your abilities, rather than waiting for better days that will only come when you make it happen.”

Formed in Hergiswil, Switzerland, Fighter V‘s 2019 debut album, Fighter, was produced by H.E.A.T.‘s Jona Tee. Last year saw the release of Heart Of The Young, featuring a new lineup: Emmo Acar on vocals, Lobe Valentin on guitar, Roman Stalder on bass and Lucien Egloff on drums. Newly signed to Frontiers Records for Déjà Vu, Fighter V are looking to expand into the global music market.

The album was recorded, mixed and mastered in 2025 at Swiss studio Little Creek by engineer Pulver, with production by Emmo Acar. Vocal recordings and production were handled by Ronny Lang (aka The Voicefinder) at his own studio in cooperation with Emmo. Keyboards were produced, played and recorded by Victor Olsson, who also contributed to the band’s previous album. Background vocals were provided by Emmo, Victor, Tess and Ronny, with saxophone by Magnus Hägglund.

Describing the album’s direction, the band added: “The album contains a variety of styles, like the previous one, thanks to cooperation with Dave Niederberger (ex-vocalist of Fighter V), Roman and Emmo. Influenced by our idols from the ’80s, we are paying tribute to the prime era of melodic hard rock/AOR, which you can hear in the authenticity of our sound.”

On the album’s title, the band explained: “The title Déjà Vu is not only the album title but also the title of a song on it. This classic French phrase portrays the events we see already coming but can’t be saved from them. They will repeat because some things are written in stone.”

Tracks featured on Déjà Vu are: ‘Raging Heartbeat‘, ‘Victory‘, ‘Made For A Heartache‘, ‘Foolish Heart‘, ‘Déjà Vu‘, ‘Stand By Your Side‘, ‘All Your Love‘, ‘Hold The Time‘, ‘For All This Time‘, ‘Break Those Limits‘ and ‘Victim Of Changes‘. It can be ordered here and you can check out the video for ‘Victory‘ below.

Fighter V will be co-headlining the Bite And Fight tour with Snakebite across Germany and Switzerland this coming February.
