Yellowcard have dropped a new version of ‘Bedroom Posters’ featuring Good Charlotte. It’s the early 2000s crossover we didn’t know we needed.

The track, from their 2025 comeback album Better Days, now features Joel Madden on vocals alongside Ryan Key. This is two bands who soundtracked an entire generation finally joining forces, and the result feels like coming home.

“We all felt like ‘Bedroom Posters’ was a really special song when we were making the record,” says vocalist Ryan Key. “The power behind Joel’s vocals take it to an even more impactful place that can truly take you back to the bedroom where you fell in love with your favourite band for the first time.”

And that’s exactly what the music video delivers. Four minutes of pure nostalgia that transported me right back to being a teenager in the late 90s and early 2000s. We’re talking walls plastered with posters, including a Spice Girls one that made me smile. It’s an ode to a time now past, when your biggest problems were learning a song on guitar or finally landing that skate trick you’d been working on for weeks. Does anyone still have a bedroom like this? I’d genuinely love to see it.

Joel Madden shares the excitement: “GC and Yellowcard finally have a song together and it feels so right. This is our love language and I hope everyone that listens feels the love that both our bands have for each other, our fans, and for the music.”

Better Days marks Yellowcard‘s first album in nearly a decade, produced by Travis Barker, who also handled drums across every track. Following last year’s Maximum Fun Tour with A Day To Remember, the band are heading to Australia and New Zealand with Good Charlotte this February before embarking on the Up Up Down Down Tour across the US this summer alongside New Found Glory and Plain White T’s.
