Mark Caro, co-founder of 80s thrash metal band Abattoir, has resurfaced fronting Shark, a Los Angeles based three-piece Angeles based three-piece who have just released their debut album, the independently released Extreme Outbreak.
Joining guitarist/vocalist Caro in Shark are Craig Miller (from LA club legends A La Carte) on bass and Los Angeles drum veteran, John Poblick. They began work on ten track strong Extreme Outbreak last year and it is available now, produced by Ronald Sandoval (aka Revmatix).
The album’s track listing is as follows: ‘Words’, ‘LTMDTT’, ‘Unhappy’, ‘Believe It’, ‘Love Potion #9’, ‘Creepin’’, ‘Israel (Love and Peace)’, ‘That’s the Way’, ‘Spread the Word’, ‘High Noon’ and ‘Too Good’, and the band has released ‘Creepin’’ as a single.
Shark will be following these releases with The Don’t Blink Sessions an EP of songs that did not make it on the full length record. “These songs were a bit outside the style continuity of Extreme Outbreak and so the decision was made to put them out on a separate bonus release,” explained Caro.
