Multi-million streaming rock outfit Against The Current are back and louder than ever with ‘Heavenly’, a euphoric new single that marks the start of a massive new chapter for the band.
Singer Chrissy Costanza described the track as being about the moment you realise that falling from grace can actually be a form of liberation. After spending a lifetime balanced on a pedestal others built for you, the moment of letting everyone down becomes the first real breath of fresh air.
Formed in 2011 when Costanza, guitarist Dan Gow and drummer Will Ferri were just 15, the band has evolved from a teenage passion project into one of modern rock’s most exciting forces. As they celebrate their 15th anniversary in 2026, they’re gearing up for new music, a global tour, and what they’re calling their most ambitious era yet.
Following the breakout success of 2021’s Fever EP, the trio embraced independence with 2024 singles ‘Silent Stranger’, ‘Blindfolded’ and ‘Good Guy’, amassing over 40 million streams worldwide. Their collaboration with Riot Games on League of Legends anthem ‘Legends Never Die’ has surpassed one billion streams.
Fresh off a sold-out tour across the US, UK and Europe, ‘Heavenly’ suggests the best is very much still to come.
Against The Current are Chrissy Costanza (vocals), Dan Gow (guitar), and Will Ferri (drums).
