All-American Rejects have just dropped ‘Get This’, the latest taste of their upcoming album Sandbox, set for release this Spring.
Fresh from an arena run supporting the Jonas Brothers, the Oklahoma four-piece are leaning into their indie-pop roots with this one. There’s an undeniable echo of ‘Gives You Hell’ and ‘Move Along’ in the track’s DNA.
Frontman Tyson Ritter puts it well: “Little hooks will sit in your pockets like a lead weight that won’t shake out in the dryer. ‘Get This’ was a song born on a drive. It was made in the sunshine on the back porch of our family home. Pure fun like the company it was written around.”
The accompanying video finds the band hamming it up across five different sets lifted straight from classic holiday films. It’s playful, slightly daft, and entirely on brand.
2025 has been nothing short of a renaissance for the group. Their viral House Party Tour became a genuine cultural moment, earning coverage from CNN, NPR, Kerrang!, and more. Breakout single ‘Easy Come, Easy Go’ alone has racked up hundreds of millions of views across three music videos and landed them a spot on Jimmy Kimmel.
With Sandbox already sitting at 10 million pre-release streams and previous singles ‘Eggshell Tap-Dancer’ and ‘Search Party’ building momentum, they’re closing the year with a headline slot at KROQ’s Almost Acoustic Christmas and a performance on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.
Sandbox is available for pre-order now.
