First things first: what a band name. All The Damn Vampires is the kind of title that makes you stop scrolling and pay attention, and honestly, so does their music!
The LA-based project just dropped ‘Sunset Over The Final Chapter’, the closing track from their debut album Vicecore (out February 6th, 2026), and it’s absolutely stunning. This is music that reaches into your chest and connects you to emotions you didn’t know you still had. The track also marks the first proper introduction of guitarist Miles Dimitri Baker (Ice Nine Kills) as an official member of the band.
Where previous singles leaned into AI-generated visuals, this one brings the band into sharp focus. The video splices smoky, neon-drenched performance footage with cinematic shots of a young woman looking out over Los Angeles from the Hollywood Hills. It’s intimate and atmospheric, grounding their retro futuristic world in raw human emotion.
The song itself delivers vintage synthwave textures colliding with crushing alternative metal, threaded through with industrial elements and gut-punch beatdowns. Baker’s incendiary guitar solo elevates everything into something transcendent. There’s something deeply nostalgic about this band, a warmth beneath the crushing weight that makes you want to close your eyes and let the music take you somewhere.
“‘Sunset Over The Final Chapter’ is not only our way of introducing guitar virtuoso Miles Dimitri Baker to our All The Damn Vampires listeners, but it closes out the story being told throughout our Vicecore album,” says founder Davey Oberlin. “It’s the culmination of a delicate blend of synthwave and heavy that will define the direction going forward for ATDV.”
Baker adds: “So stoked on this track and video finally coming out. I really like how the solo turned out and it’s awesome to be doing something not only with my friends, but musicians I respect.”
With music already featured in cult horror film Terrifier 2 and a collaboration with Avenged Sevenfold on a reimagined ‘Ordinary’ under their belt, All The Damn Vampires have carved out a unique lane. I imagine they’ll go down an absolute treat at festivals!
