ArcTanGent 2026: Primus, Chelsea Wolfe & Cult Of Luna Headline

ArcTanGent has just dropped its 2026 headliner announcement, and honestly? It’s a belter.

Running 19th to 22nd August 2026, the festival has secured Primus for their first ATG appearance and first UK shows since 2017. That alone would be enough to get excited about, but there’s more.

Chelsea Wolfe finally gets her headline slot after COVID scuppered her 2020 booking. With last year’s She Reaches Out To She Reaches Out To She earning BBC 6Music playlist recognition, this feels like perfect timing.

The real emotional gut punch comes from Cult Of Luna and Julie Christmas reuniting to perform Mariner in full for its tenth anniversary. This is a UK exclusive for 2026. Johannes from Cult Of Luna admits to feeling “excitement and a fair bit of fear” about revisiting the material, while Julie promises “blood, sweat, and tears… sound so loud I might shatter.”

Wednesday’s headliners SikTh join a stacked undercard including Napalm Death, High On Fire, Conjurer, and Jo Quail performing with the Crossbones Ensemble as another UK exclusive.

These additions complement an already impressive lineup featuring Igorrr, Perturbator, Chat Pile, Alcest, and Oathbreaker.

Organiser James Scarlett says the stars have “really aligned” for this one. Looking at this lineup, it’s hard to argue with him.
