British melodic rock band Atlantic is currently working on their next studio album, and following a recent signing it will be released on the Frontiers Music Srl label.
“We are very proud to say that we will be working with Frontiers Records on this album,” Atlantic commented. They are a fantastic label and we are honoured to be with them. The new album will be released in 2026. Many thanks to Mario at Frontiers and their entire staff for making us feel welcome, and to Kevin Fetterplace at Mojo Management.”
The aforementioned Mario de Riso is the A&R and Business Affairs VP at Frontiers, and he commented: “We’re thrilled to welcome Atlantic to the roster – A band that captures the classic spirit of British AOR with the kind of songwriting, hooks, and melodic class that still feels timeless. Their return is exactly what fans of the genre have been waiting for”.
Following on from Stranger and Wisht, guitarist and songwriter Simon Harrison wanted to make an album in the AOR/Melodic rock genre and this founded Atlantic, their debut album, Power, being released back in 1994.
After decades working successfully as a ghost writer, producer and mixing engineer, Harrison and vocalist Mark Grimmett reignited Atlantic, with the band now also featuringNick Burr (Guitar), Julian Hill (Bass), Mark Peters (Keyboards) and Eddie Marsh (Drums), with 2024’s Another World album issued on the Escape label, to the Frontiers Music Srl signing.
