Blindead 23 Get Disposed

Recently signed to Peaceville Records, Polish avant-metal force Blindead 23‘s first new music on the label – standalone single ‘Disposed’ – proves to be an exciting glimpse into the unique brand of experimental, progressive metal that can be expected on their 2026 debut album.

Speaking about the new single, the band said “‘Disposed’ was born in a moment of doubt. We didn’t know what the future would bring or if Blindead 23 even had one. And yet, from that uncertainty came a piece of music that carried us forward — a song shaped by atmosphere, emotion, and the need to express what words alone couldn’t.

“Together with Roger Öjersson, now part of our core line-up, and our long-time friend and collaborator Kuba Mańkowski — who not only recorded, produced, mixed, and mastered the track, but also, for the first time, played a crucial role in the writing process — we created something that felt different, yet true to us. His creativity and talent made this song absolutely unique, and we feel lucky to have him on this journey with us.

“Not long after, our path became clearer. Signing with Peaceville Records and Mystic Production opened a new chapter, with a full album on the horizon, recorded in 2023 with David Castillo in Stockholm. But ‘Disposed’ deserves its own voice, its own space,” concludingm by saying: “That’s why we’re releasing it as a stand-alone single.”

Out now digitally, ‘Disposed’ here it will also be released as a limited edition 7” single with a b-side etching on 17th October and ordered here, while you can check out the lyric video – Created by Matthew Vickerstaff – here at RAMzine.

The new album by the band due n 2026 – featuring Patryk Zwoliński (Vocals), Roger Öjersson (Guitars & vocals), Mateusz Śmierzchalski and Maciej Janas (Guitars), Vinicius Nunes (Bass) and Paweł Jaroszewicz (Drums) –  is a 53-minute conceptual journey and was recorded and produced by David Castillo (Opeth, Carcass, Katatonia, Leprous) at Studio Gröndahl in Stockholm in the spring of 2023. Mixing and mastering duties are being handled by Kuba Mańkowski, a longtime collaborator whose previous work with the band has helped shape their signature sound.

Regarding their signing with Peaceville, Blindead 23 said: “Good things come to those that wait! It may have taken a while but the effort has been worth it. After two years of hard work, we are very proud to announce that we have signed a worldwide record deal with the legendary Peaceville Records & Mystic Production. Both labels will join forces to release our upcoming full-length album at the beginning of 2026.”

“Joining the artist roster for Peaceville Records is something we as a group have aspired to since we began playing in bands in the second half of the 1990s,” the band continued. “We grew up listening to many of the classic albums released on the label. So, we are naturally very excited and very much looking forward to what the future holds!”

Peaceville manager Paul Groundwell added, “A richly-deserved growing name in prog metal circles of late, & with much more to come, it is a pleasure for Peaceville to be releasing the fruits of Blindead23’s meticulous creative labour early ne
