Blutgott Cover Judas Priest

Blutgott release a cover version of Judas Priest‘s ‘Painkiller’ as their new single – The track will be part of their upcoming Legions Of Metal album, due 10th October via Metalville Records.

Thomas Gurrath said about this song: “For me, Judas Priest is the embodiment of metal – An absolute legend and a huge inspiration for my own music. And ‘Painkiller’? The holy grail of metal.

“Of course, you can never fully do justice to a monster of a song like that, but hey – I’m a fan and a musician. I already covered the track with Debauchery back in 2015, but for the new music video, I wanted a fresh Blutgott version. Very close to the original – Just with an extra dose of viciousness.”
