Previously known as Rock Diabetes festival, Fire and Forge Festival is back this September for it’s seventh iteration with a plethora of bands over two day festival in Trowbridge near Bath. The festival raises awareness about type 1 diabetes, hence their previous name, raising funds towards the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation [JDRF].
This year features the mighty Feed The Rhino, AntiClone, Balls Deep, De Profundis and twenty-six other artists flock to the Civic Centre. Many of the bands have either suffered with JDRF or know people who have making this an important date in many of their calendars. Tickets are an fantastically priced £28 meaning that you’re seeing all these artists for a little over 90p each and as previously mentioned money is raised to help fund research into type 1 diabetes. It is also a brilliant opportunity for local and up and coming underground artists to mingle with more household names so your attendance is doubly supportive. Previous years have seen Breed 77 and Paul Di Anno of Iron Maiden attending Fire and Forge.

Fire and Forge festival is on this 14th and 15th September at Trowbridge Civic Centre.
