After 42 years in the metal business, Grave Digger‘s front icon Chris Boltendahl will release his first solo album. Under the banner of Chris Boltendahl’s Steelhammer, Reborn In Flames will see the light of day on 28th July, 2023.
Boltendahl brought on board, former Orden Ogan guitarist Tobias Kersting and bass player Lars Schneider on bass, alongside Iron Savior drummer Patrick Klose. Boltendahl and Kersting co-writing ten tracks, with a cover of Midnight Oil’s ‘Beds Are Burning’ rounding things off, on what the vocalist has said should sound like “Grave Digger meets Metal Church“.
Reborn In Flames” will be available as digipack CD, black vinyl, limited sun yellow vinyl, limited splatter vinyl, limited picture disc, digitally for streaming/download and as a limited to 500 copies collector’s black steel box with logo printing on the lid that includes extra goodies.
To be released worldwide by ROAR! Rock of Angels Records it will feature the tracks:
‘Reborn In Flames’, ‘Fire Angel’, ‘Beyond The Black Souls’, ‘Gods Of Steel’, ‘Die For Your Sins’, ‘Let The Evil Rise’, ‘Out Of The Ruins’, ‘I Am Metal’, ‘The Hammer That Kills’, ‘Iron Christ’, and ‘Beds Are Burning (CD Bonus Track)’.
