Classic Inglorious Lineup Reforms for 10th Anniversary at KK’s Steel Mill

Can you believe it’s been ten years since the rock band Inglorious released their debut album? It appears so. And a lot of water’s passed under the bridge since then. Some of it quite turbulent.

Fronted by reality TV show singer Nathan James (who’d also performed with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra), the partnership of Colin Parkinson (bass) and Phil Beaver (drums) held down the bottom end, while guitarist Billy Taylor enhanced the rhythm. Those Brits were joined by Swedish lead guitarist Andreas Eriksson for that first album.

However, the role of lead guitarist had already become a fluctuating one. Drew Lowe initially took that role, and was back playing six-string for them over their next two albums, with former Piston guitarist Jack Edwards temporarily slotting in between.

All but James had left by their third album, with some angry words voiced. Replacements were found, then last year Parkinson and James reconnected, writing songs that would be featured on last year’s V album.

Now, hatchets apparently buried, the lineup featured on their first album are reuniting for a special one-off show on Saturday 17th October 2026 at KK’s Steel Mill in Wolverhampton.

In celebration of the 10th anniversary of their debut album, Inglorious, the band will perform the album alongside more tracks from their back catalogue.

Released in February 2016, Inglorious featured 11 tracks that would spawn a number of radio hit singles, alongside praise from Queen’s Brian May and supporting the likes of The Winery Dogs, The Dead Daisies, Last In Line and Steel Panther.

“We couldn’t let the ten year anniversary of our debut album pass without celebrating it. And now seemed the perfect time to reconnect with the guys that helped start this band,” announced Nathan James in what some would consider a shock announcement, but cautiously one that others might have been contemplating when Colin Parkinson was drawn back into the fold.

“We are all now in our late 30s and can look back on those days and remember how much fun it was, touring with Steel Panther twice, The Winery Dogs, selling out the Electric Ballroom, all the festivals,” James continued, reflecting. “I, like many of you, probably never thought this would happen, but I am so excited for the show and I know many of the original Inglorious fans will be too.”

“We’ve spent so much time together making music and touring, there’s a real history there!” remarked guitarist Andreas Eriksson. “We haven’t been in the same room together in a very long time, so that, in itself, is exciting. Being able to perform those songs again with the original lineup will make it a very special night.”

Fellow guitarist Billy Taylor added, “Ten years ago, we experienced something truly special as a band. Getting together after a decade to celebrate that moment is really exciting. We’ve all grown up and lived different lives since that first album and we are looking forward to playing together again one more time, older, wiser and louder!”

“One night only!” cautioned James on this reunion, while declaring: “It’s gonna be a very special and emotional night at one of the country’s best venues. See you there.”
