Damnation Festival has dropped the most staggering headliner announcement in its entire history, and we’re excited!
Cult of Luna, Satyricon, Carcass, Igorrr, Crowbar and Triptykon will all perform at BEC Arena, Manchester, on November 7 and 8, 2026.
Swedish post-metal masters Cult of Luna will headline Saturday, while Norwegian black metal legends Satyricon close the festival on Sunday with a UK exclusive performance. English death metal icons Carcass, French experimentalists Igorrr, US sludge stalwarts Crowbar and Swiss extreme metallers Triptykon round out what is comfortably the most impressive Damnation bill to date.
They join the already announced likes of Health, Walls of Jericho, Eyehategod, Wolves In The Throne Room, Car Bomb and Møl.
Organiser Gavin McInally didn’t hold back, saying the festival promised early ticket buyers they would repay that faith with the strongest lineup possible. He added that all six headliners could top the bill on their own, and having them all on the same weekend is nothing short of extraordinary, especially alongside the rest of the bill.
With more than half the tickets already sold, the festival is set for a sell-out in record time. Instalment plans are available from £20 deposit plus booking fee. There are still 19 more bands to be announced.
This is shaping up to be the metal weekend of 2026!
