Evanescence are back with a fresh music video for their song ‘Afterlife’. This track is currently part of Netflix’s new animated series, Devil May Cry, which made an impressive entrance at No. 4 during its premiere week. The series has garnered positive reviews in the adult animation category and has maintained its place in Netflix’s Global TV Top 10 for two consecutive weeks.
‘Afterlife’ has quickly become the band’s fastest rising single, racking up over 6 million audio streams and more than 5 million views on its lyric video within just one week of release. Co-written by Alex Seaver from Mako and Amy Lee of Evanescence, the song was produced by Nick Raskulinecz along with Seaver.
Evanescence is dedicating this year to crafting new music, but they also have some performances lined up for 2025. These include shows alongside My Chemical Romance, Metallica, and Halsey; unfortunately, there are currently no UK dates scheduled. For those who attempted to get close to their set at Download in 2023, you’ll understand just how impossible that was—there is a clear demand for them to return to the UK!
