Filter March UK Tour

Celebrating their 30th anniversary this year, alternative/Industrial rock band Filter’s first European headlining tour in more than eight years starts this March, including dates in the UK, with tickets selling fast, as many shows approach sell out.

Filter will be performing songs from the recently released album, The Algorithm, as well as classic tracks from their 30-year repertoire.

As part of a Filter Fanatic VIP Meet & Greet, concertgoers can purchase an upgrade that will include a private meet and greet with Filter, a souvenir VIP laminate, a signed limited edition tour poster and photo-op with the band. VIP for Australia and New Zealand dates can be found with each individual show link.  Those interested should click here.

Distortion Inc. and Filter have partnered to introduce The Short Bus Pedal, to celebrate the 29th anniversary of the band’s debut release Short Bus.

“We’ve dug up all the original gear from my mom’s basement to make the pedal identical to the Short Bus sound,” said Richard Patrick, founder and leader of Filter. “The result is uncanny. You better believe you’ll be ripping all your favourite Short Bus tracks with this thing.”

The Short Bus Pedal is a limited-edition authentic piece of working gear that comes with a numbered certificate signed by Patrick. It’s available now on pre-order  here and starts shipping in late February. The pedal is built to be used and abused: “This is a serious piece of gear made for the stage,” said Patrick, who has personally overseen the development. Patrick will be using the pedal on the upcoming European tour dates, and a stage played and signed version will be available for sale during and after the tour.

More merchandising comes with the news that after a successful run of limited-edition skateboards from Volatile Skateboards, Filter has reteamed with the renegade skateboard company for a new board featuring the artwork from The AlgorithmIt’s available here.

Concert tickets are available here.
