The apocalypse has arrived. And besides the cockroaches and rats, HIGHSOCIETY and Becko remain to bring you an explosive dubstep/metalcore/rock soundtrack heralding the end of human civilisation, with new release ‘Post-Humanity’.
An futuristic driving single featuring Becko’s signature screaming, this collaboration continues to expand HIGHSOCIETY s hybrid rock/EDM datamosh world, following a string of original and remix collaborations with others.
HIGHSOCIETY described the single as “an explosive soundtrack to the apocalypse,” adding “seamlessly incorporating blazing sound design, nü-metal bounce, and stadium-ready vocal delivery, the boundary-leaping artists masterfully mix metalcore, dubstep, and hyperpop to maximum effect.”
Hopes Die Last vocalist, Italian multi-genre producer, and musician, Marco Calanca created Becko as a solo project. In 2020, Becko released the full-length album INNER SELF, as a triumphant fusion of trap & metal. In 2021 Becko released a flurry of singles, in 2022 the You Are (Not) Alone, and the 90s-inspired concept album Present Day//Present Time in early 2023.
