James Bruner Gets Everything – Touring with Orianthi & Headline

Having seen out 2025 touring Europe supporting Those Damn Crows, with a solo date in the UK tucked in, Illinois-born, Nashville-based singer-songwriter James Bruner is returning here this month and into February.

This time around he’ll be playing more solo dates alongside supporting guitar virtuoso Orianthi.

Bruner commented: “I’m ecstatic to be coming back to the UK to play some more shows! I’ll be supporting the amazing Orianthi and also be playing a handful of headlining James Bruner shows while I’m over. So much fun and rock and roll awaits!”

Having come of age amidst skateboard culture in Springfield, Illinois, Bruner was drawn towards artists like Roxy Music, David Bowie and Iggy Pop as opposed to what his friends were listening to at the time. Watching how skaters executed their craft on videos featuring Iggy Pop’s ‘Lust For Life’, Rod Stewart’s ‘Every Picture Tells A Story’ and Black Sabbath’s ‘Paranoid’ inspired him to get a guitar when aged 15.

He was soon to join local band Unchained as lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist, but it was when he moved to Nashville that his focus on songwriting and working with top-flight musicians began to bear fruit. Full band shows as a solo artist began in 2023, and since then he has honed his craft as a live performer playing hundreds of shows across the USA, Europe and UK.

With previous singles appearing on Planet Rock’s playlist, new release ‘I Get Everything’ features a powerful vocal melody underlaid with Bruner’s unique driving guitar and may well find similar results.
