Out now, progressive rock/metal act Karnivool’s first single in four years, ‘Drone’, out now via Cymatic Records/Sony Music.
“’Drone’ is the sound of Karnivool entering a new era — A slow-cooked journey forged in the studio’s heat, where every note was tested and tempered. This track hums with the weight of vast Western Australian deserts, anchored by colossal rock riffs that could only come from our home. It’s both a reflection and a rebirth,” said the band who recently performed at the Arctangent Festival in Bristol.
Formed in Perth, West Australia back in 1998, the band going through a number of lineup changes right through to 2004, primarily led by guitarist Andrew ‘Drew’ Goddard.
The single is taken from Karnivool’s long-gestating fourth studio album.
