Legendary black metal tribute album V/A Czarne Zastępy – w Hołdzie Kat, is due for a re-release on 20th December, and on vinyl through Pagan Records.
Originally released in 1996, the album features 15 bands paying homage to the influential band KAT, originally formed in 1979 and considered by many as the godfathers of black/thrash metal in Poland.
Bands featured on the compilation include Vader, Behemoth, Lux Occulta, Luciferion (with Snowy Show formerly of King Diamond and Mercyful Fate on backing vocals), Damnation and many others. The tracks in this album are exclusive and are not available on regular artist releases.
V/A Czarne Zastępy – w Hołdzie Kat will be available as a double red (LTD 300 copies) and black 180g Vinyl in gatefold sleeve and will include a booklet with fan memorabilia and can be pre-ordered here. Tracks and artists featured are as follows:
