Legendary southern rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd has issued a live video for their latest single, ‘That Smell’ taken from the recently released live album, Celebrating 50 Years – Live At The Ryman, released by Frontiers Music Srl.
It’s one in a series of singles that have been taken from Celebrating 50 Years – Live At The Ryman, from a band that’s sold over 28 million records sold in the U.S.A. and is listed among Rolling Stone magazine’s 100 Greatest Artists of All Time.
From humble Jacksonville, Florida beginnings to success, tragedy, reunion and redemption, Lynyrd Skynyrd has pretty much seen it all.

The composers – front man Ronnie Van Zant and guitarist Stevie Gaines – dying later in the year, in the October plane crash that became the most tragic part of the band’s illustrious lore.
Van Zant’s brother Johnny Van Zant and original guitarist Gary Rossington serve the song well, with the concert from which Celebrating 50 Years – Live At The Ryman, being Rossington’s final hurrah, himself passing away in 2023.
