Right, let’s cut through the usual tour announcement nonsense. Marillion are heading out on a proper UK tour in September and October 2026, and if you’ve never caught them live, you’re genuinely missing out on one of British rock’s most intense experiences.
Steve Hogarth reckons he’d “buy a ticket to watch the crowd” at their UK shows, and honestly, he’s not wrong. We’ve witnessed grown adults sobbing during ‘The Great Escape‘ and entire venues becoming one voice during ‘Kayleigh‘. It’s tribal, it’s emotional, and it’s completely authentic.
What makes this tour particularly interesting is the promise of new material. Their 2022 album An Hour Before It’s Dark proved they’ve still got genuine fire in their belly, tackling everything from climate crisis to personal loss with the kind of emotional intelligence most bands can’t touch. If the new album (expected next year) follows that path, we’re in for something special.
Support comes from Haunt The Woods, the Cornish outfit’s atmospheric alternative rock should complement Marillion‘s expansive moments perfectly.
They’re hitting Portsmouth Guildhall, Brighton Dome, York Barbican, Manchester Bridgewater Hall, Bristol Beacon, Nottingham Royal Concert Hall, Birmingham Symphony Hall, Cambridge Corn Exchange, Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, Edinburgh Usher Hall, and two nights at London’s Eventim Apollo.
The double London dates suggest they’re expecting serious demand, and based on their track record of instant sellouts, they’re probably right. Their fanbase is notoriously quick when tickets drop, so if you want decent seats, be ready.
Tickets are on sale now via marillion.com/tour and myticket.co.uk. Don’t sleep on this.
