The final piece of the 2000trees puzzle has fallen into place. Welsh pop punk heroes Neck Deep have been announced as the Saturday night headliners for this year’s festival, completing what is already shaping up to be the biggest 2000trees ever.
Neck Deep first played the Upcote Farm festival a decade ago, and returning to close out the Saturday as main stage headliners feels earned. The Wrexham five-piece have been one of the most consistent forces in pop punk for years, and giving them this spot just makes sense.
The Saturday additions don’t stop there either. Sunny Day Real Estate will be making their 2000trees debut. Widely regarded as one of the most influential bands in 90s emo, their 1994 debut Diary essentially helped shape the genre as we know it. For anyone who has ever loved that raw, emotionally charged sound, this is a must see.
Elsewhere, MOBO award winners ALT BLK ERA bring something brilliantly different to the bill, while Higher Power continue to fly the flag for essential British hardcore. Mallory Knox are back, Cosmic Psychos bring 80s Australian punk energy, Brighton favourites The Xcerts return, and Saint Agnes, Delilah Bon, Mouth Culture and Beauty School round out a wave of additions that covers serious ground.
These names join an already stacked lineup including Funeral For A Friend, Alkaline Trio, Glassjaw, Marmozets, Arcane Roots, PUP, Lambrini Girls, Cancer Bats/Bat Sabbath, Dinosaur Pile-Up, Pinkshift and many more.
Festival organiser James Scarlett called it the best selling year in the festival’s history, and it is easy to see why. 2000trees has always been about getting it right rather than getting it big, and this lineup is a perfect example.
2000trees runs July 8th to 11th 2026 at Upcote Farm near Cheltenham across five stages. Tickets are selling fast.
