Robin Red Uncovered, Unreleased But Out Now

Swedish singer Robin Eriksson, frontman and a founding member of the melodic hard rock band Degreed, also has an alter ego; that of Robin Red.

In 2021, under the Robin Red guise he released his first solo album, working with  H.E.A.T’s Dave Dalone taking on the role of producer, guitarist and co-songwriter.

Now, in 2025, Eriksson is doing his first live show ever under the name Robin Red. Together with the boys from Wildness, he will perform at Kopparbergs Festivalen in his hometown, Kopparberg, Sweden, on 8th August 8th. Even his son, Lennon, will join in for a couple of songs.

“Get ready to hear a completely different side of me. This is a lot of fun and perfect for your summer vacation”, the singer commented. He has, of course toured all over Europe in support of seven well received studio albums with Degreed, and himself taken part in the Swedish version of American Idol in 2008, finishing in the Top 10.

“It’s always been a dream for me to be able to do this. Releasing my own album with the style of music that I love the most. Singing for the pure love of it. This is a dream come true for sure, he said of this solo career.

As part of these summer celebrations, Robin Red plans to issue three unreleased songs via Frontiers Music Srl. Up first, and out now is ‘Don’t Leave Me (Summer Version)’ a special version of the first Robin Red single, ‘Don’t Leave Me (With A Broken Heart)’, originally released back in 2021. Aside from Dalone, a number of other H.E.A.T members play on the record.
