Austin trio Portrayal of Guilt have dropped two new singles, ‘Object of Pain’ and ‘Death From Above’, alongside music videos for both tracks. The releases complete a video trilogy directed by Craig Murray and offer another glimpse into their upcoming album …Beginning of the End, out 24th April via Run For Cover.
The new tracks follow lead singles ‘Ecstasy’ and ‘Human Terror’, released earlier this month, and showcase the band’s willingness to push into unexpected territory. Expect nu-metal, alternative rock, trip hop, dark ambient, and plenty more thrown into the mix alongside the raw intensity they’re known for.
Portrayal of Guilt have spent a decade building their own musical world, releasing four full-length albums that have seen them consistently reinvent themselves without compromise. …Beginning of the End was recorded and mixed by Phillip Odom between March and June 2025, with mastering by Will Yip. It’s the band’s fourth studio album in eight years and their third with Run For Cover.
The band will perform at Roadburn Festival on 17th April before heading out on a full North American headline tour from May through June, with Pg. 99, Taraneh, Halloween, and The Infinity Ring supporting on select dates.
