Puscifer have released an animated music video for ‘A Public Stoning’, taken from their album Normal Isn’t. The video features an animated adaptation of the second issue of the band’s comic book series, ‘Tales From The Pusciverse’, titled ‘The Briefcase’.
The story centres on the longest running mystery in the Pusciverse: the briefcase. For years, the object has appeared in Puscifer‘s videos and photographs, prompting the recurring question among fans about its contents.
Maynard James Keenan, who wrote the comic, teased: “The Briefcase has been part of the Puscifer mythology for years. Everyone wonders what exactly is inside. This issue doesn’t necessarily answer the question… but it moves the story forward.”
The video arrives as the band continue their Normal Isn’t North American tour, with dates running through to May, including stops at Terminal 5 in New York, Fox Theatre in Detroit, the Chicago Theatre, and Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado.
