Following the release of their sophomore album Resurrection, Eastern European band Raizer has announced the release of their alternative four track EP Run, with a follow up official music video for ‘Run’ set to release on 31st January.
The EP covers various themes from futuristic dystopian to elements of life in the last two years as the band has explored the use of AI through music videos to questioning the very nature of the human condition. Tracks like the introspective ‘The Last Day Of The Universe’ that took a year to complete, the anthem ‘Fight To Infinity’ with dystopian overtones, and a brutal electronic industrial rock fused single ‘Hate’ all showcase the band’s wide range of production ability as well as their ability to craft a story through a sonic medium.
“Year after year it seems to me that modern society is becoming more conscious, more humane, and creative,” stated Raizer on their single ‘Fight To Infinity’ illustrating the songs apocalyptic tones, “More and more striving for unification and cooperation. But unfortunately, this is an illusion…”
On fourth single and EP namesake ‘Run’ the act said: “The song has been the soundtrack of the last two years,” adding, “The way we live now and try to get rid of the memories that gnaw at us.”
The Run EP is available now on all platforms from FiXT and you can check out the video for the single here at RAMzine.
