Raizer & The Last Day Of The Universe

Raizer return with an introspective new single ‘The Last Day Of The Universe’, available via FiXT.

Taking a year to complete, the single features rock, industrial, and alternative overtones wrapped in a bittersweet cinematic shell. Featuring a passionate vocal performance wrapped in a yearning soundscape created from soothing synthesisers, steady drums, and sombre guitars.

Dropping with the release of the song is the official music video, an AI animated themed piece featuring the band overdrawn by AI animation fused between futuristic spatial themes and past historical feats. The video illustrates of the introspective nature of the track and you can check it out here at RAMzine.

“This is a very unusual track for us,” explained Raizer, “The inspiration for it came to me in a vivid dream with a cinematic quality. I was left awestruck upon waking up and wrote the music in just five minutes. As fate would have it, the demo of this song served as the backdrop for some significant events in both my personal life and that of the band’s. Betrayal, moving to another country, the guitarist leaving the band. All the excitement poured out when recording this track. Even though this track is about the last time the world existed. But it’s also about the love that lived to the very last moment of the universe. And that will be the new beginning.”

The rise of Raizer begins in Eastern Europe, as four human beings fight to survive the future apocalypse. The only weapon at their disposal – the electronic/rock music hybrid music they’ve created to push back the encroaching alien invasion and ignite the hearts and minds of the last remaining members of the human resistance.

The Last Day Of The Universe’ can be purchased/streamed here.
