Riley’s L.A. Guns Play The Dark Horse

Riley’s L.A. Guns’ formidable three-decade presence in the music scene makes a loud noise again with new single, ‘The Dark Horse’, out on Golden Robot Records – For fans everywhere, it’s a sneak peek into their forthcoming album of the same name, due for release in early 2024. 

‘The Dark Horse’ is said to embark on a compelling narrative, encapsulated in a raw, hard-hitting rock ‘n’ roll ballad. Its lyrics deeply exploring the challenges of confronting inner demons and wrestling with life-altering decisions. The metaphorical reins in the song signify the constant hurdles one must overcome, while the relentless spinning of the world underscores the ceaseless nature of life’s trials. 

L.A. Guns got their start on Los Angeles’ Sunset Strip. The band was formed in 1986 and their first album wen on to sell over 1,000,000 copies. The band had its highs and lows in they years that followed, with several line-up changes.

Reborn as Riley’s LA Guns with the return of original member Kelly Nickels on bass, Steve Riley who had been the most consistent member throughout the years still on drums, Scotty Griffin on guitar and Kurt Frohlich as lead singer they signed a multialbum deal with International independent powerhouse rock label Golden Robot Records and released their debut album Rileys LA Guns Renegades, with their second, The Dark Horse, now due for 2024.


  
With more than 30 years’ worth of noteworthy material, platinum sales, world tours and controversy, the band has proved to be true warriors of the 80s hard rock genre and are geared to tear it up across the world giving audiences the high octane rock & roll that is Riley’s L.A. Guns.
