Rush Extend Fifty Something Tour Internationally into 2027

Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson expanded their Fifty Something tour beyond North America. Fans beyond the North American continent waited patiently, prayed both quietly and aloud to their chosen god and whoever else would listen, until finally the word from on high came out that the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees would add South America, the United Kingdom, and Europe, taking the celebration of Rush‘s legacy and the life of late drummer Neil Peart through to early 2027.

The band will perform 24 shows across 13 countries, with each “evening with” show featuring two sets per night. Rush will build each night’s setlist from a catalogue of 40+ songs including greatest hits and fan favourites, meaning no two nights will be identical. These will be the band’s first European shows since 2013.

Joining Lee and Lifeson on stage are drummer Anika Nilles, who previously performed with Jeff Beck for over 60 shows, and keyboard player Loren Gold, known for his work with The Who and Roger Daltrey.

“We can’t wait to get back to all these cities we haven’t played in so long,” said Geddy Lee. “Both Alex and I are loving the hours of rehearsal time we’re spending with Anika and now Loren, learning around 40 songs which will enable us to keep the shows evolving. We dearly hope you will come along and help us celebrate 50 years of Rush music, while giving Neil the long overdue tribute he so richly deserves.”

The late drummer’s wife and daughter, Carrie Nuttall-Peart and Olivia Peart, expressed their support, calling Peart‘s musicianship “singular” and his artistry as both drummer and lyricist “irreplaceable.”

A 50-track super deluxe anthology, RUSH 50, is also available in five configurations spanning the band’s full discography, alongside an expanded boxset of their tenth studio album Grace Under Pressure, featuring a new album mix by Terry Brown.
