Zak Starkey Guests on Sunderland Band Ryder’s Debut

Sunderland’s Ryder swagger in with their debut single ‘Broken Footsteps‘ — A sharp hit of indie rock energy featuring a cameo appearance from Zak Starkey on drums – taken from their Only The Brave album also available now on be released on Flip Flop Records.

Blending the energy of Brit pop with the raw edge of indie rock, Ryder craft anthemic melodies and reflective lyrics that resonate with anyone seeking authenticity.

Signed to producer Nick Brine’s Flip Flop Records and managed by the Mancunian McGee Kyle Dale of Bittersweet Home, Ryder – featuringDavid Cuthbertson (Lead Vocals, guitar), Steven Dorward (Guitar, backing vocals), Des Clarke (Lead guitar, backing vocals), Dave Lowton (Bass guitar) and Phil Hughes (Drums) have wasted no time.

Eleven months together, four months recording their debut album — ‘Broken Footsteps’ is the first taste of what’s coming, and it lands with real weight.
