Mythic is a short and concise 3-track EP by the now-defunct dark ambient/dungeon synth project SAGNTID that was recorded at various points in time between 2002 and 2005 in Frederikshavn and Aarhus (Denmark) using relatively primitive equipment. As you will eventually discover, the sound is lo-fi and murky, but perhaps that is a huge part of its sickening charm? The tunes were roughly mixed and edited in April 2020 and then released digitally via Bandcamp and YouTube in June this year.
The compositions were inspired by various ideas, motifs, and themes relating to classic literature such as the Fall of Man, the vain quest for immortality, the hugely interesting role of the Femme Fatale, and inhumanity.
