Following her triumphant Faster UK tour in October 2022, American guitarist Samantha Fish will team up with American rock guitarist Jesse Dayton on a nationwide 10-date UK tour to promote their brand-new album Death Wish Blues. The highly anticipated UK tour teams two wild talents together onstage, an uncommon and fiery pairing of two bandleader guitar heroes trading lead vocal and guitar duties.
To celebrate the news, a special concert at the legendary 100 Club in London has been just announced, with an opportunity to see the show up close and persona – The event will take place on Monday 30th October.
Special guests are the Canadian roots rock band, The Commoners, who recently toured the UK themselves and graced Planet Rock Radio’s airwaves with their popular radio tracks ‘Fill My Cup’, ‘Find A Better Way’, and ‘Too Much’.
Fish and Dayton will perform songs from their new album Death Wish Blues including the radio hit single ‘Deathwish’. In addition, Fish will perform songs from her 2021 album Faster and her back catalogue, including the radio smash single ‘Bulletproof’.
Equally steeped in Texas/Louisiana blues, old-school country and punk-rock, guitarist Jesse Dayton has long been a well-kept secret of the music world, a road warrior touring alongside acts as diverse as George Strait, Rob Zombie and Social Distortion, and a sought-after session player and sideman hiding in plain sight as a guitarist for ranging from Waylon Jennings, to Duff McKagan, and Glenn Danzig. Inducted in 2022 into the Austin Music Hall of Fame, his first solo record went to the top of the Americana charts, and he was involved with arrangements and guitar on The Supersuckers’ biggest selling record ‘Must’ve Been High’.
