Shotgun Mistress Release Ballad

Shotgun Mistress was formed by Matt Wilcock (The Berzerker, Akercocke, Abramelin), an internationally renowned death-metal demon guitarist best known for playing at light speeds.

He hooked up with Diamond David Lee on drums to jam out LA strip-era rock. Ben Curnow (Earth) joined on bass along with vocalist Glenn Patrick (of Collegians, featuring members of Pseudo Echo and Invertigo).

Following a string of successful singles that gathered global interest, and a self-titled debut album last summer, Melbourne based rockers Shotgun Mistress  release an unplugged version of their hit ballad, ‘May She Never Walk Alone’, through Crusader Records.

May She Never Walk Alone’ describes the transience of life, exquisitely portrayed in a heady and dynamic ballad. While harnessing the expressive tonal colours of a string section, this masterful track mixes eloquence with a dash of spirit-fuelled raw energy.

‘May She Never Walk Alone’ is intended to be painfully poignant. For the fallen who we all know, and for those we don’t.
