Silverburn have their latest single, ‘Bathe In Fire‘, out now, an indication of where they’re heading.
“‘Bathe In Fire‘ is a deep sonic purification rite, a blue flaming phoenix rising from the ashes of annihilation,” according to Silverburn’s James ‘Jimbob’ Isaac, who’s already completed the writing and preproduction for album two, set to be recording in the summer.
Described as “a healthy mix of sludge, stoner rock and post hardcore,” debut album Self Induced Transcendental Annihilation came out in 2023 via MSH Group Music. Those who caught them with Crowbar got the opportunity to get hold of limited edition turquoise vinyl editions.
Formerly with Taint and Hark, Isaac has taken his Silverburn band on tour with the likes of High On Fire and Deadguy, supported Mutoid Man, Kylesa and Crowbar and appeared at the ArcTanGent Festival.
