Soulbound has a new studio album due out on 16th January 2026, via Metalville, and ahead of thatis new single ‘Cutting Diamonds’ as a sign of what’s due to come.
Released in 2024, Soulbound’s previous album, sYn, was considered their most uncompromising work to date. Thus, it may come as some surprise that with ‘Cutting Diamonds’ the band strike a softer note and yet remain true to themselves.
The melancholy rock ballad tells of closeness, loss and the moment when you only have one thing left to say: “Hold on.” Between frosty imagery and atmospheric depth, it’s a song about breaking up and the hope that lies within it unfolds – Just one facet of their forthcoming album that apparently knows no rules.
