Sweet Fanny Adams Revisited

Between 2010 and 2012, many Sweet shows were recorded in various countries and Sweet Fanny Adams Revisited recorded in concert in 2012, has gone on to be an extremely rare and out of print item, highly coveted by fans. Come the 8th August, they can breathe a sigh of relief as it will be released on CD by Metalville, alongside a vinyl version of the album becoming available for the very first time.

The success of the original 1973 album Sweet Fanny Adams was the catalyst that propelled Sweet as serious artists within the rock world. As a live performance almost forty years after the release of that original album, Sweet Fanny Adams Revisited offers some of the finest hard rock, as the band around Andy Scott presents itself in top form and impressively transports the special magic of the highly commercial power songs back to the stage.

Tracks featured are: ‘Sweet F.A.’, ‘Heartbreak Today’, ‘The Six Teens’, ‘Restless’, ‘No You Don’t’, ‘Into The Night’, ‘A.C.D.C.’, ‘Fox On The Run’, ‘Set Me Free’ and ‘Ballroom Blitz’.

Alongside Scott on guitar, plus lead vocals for ‘Into The Night’ are Pete Lincoln (Bass, lead vocals), Bruce Bisland (Drums, vocals), and Tony O’Hora (Keyboards, guitar, lead vocals on ‘No You Don’t’ and ‘Set Me Free’).
