Following the success of this year’s sold out event, the Beermageddon Festival has released their ‘Beermageddon Anthem’ on all digital platforms with all proceeds going to RACPA (Rock Against Child Pornography & Abuse) to help their work with victims of child abuse.
Beermageddon is possibly heavy metal’s best kept secret, with over a decade of successively sold out years, while cementing the festival’s name as Britain’s best 100% independent, 100% grassroots event.
The ‘Beermageddon Anthem’ was written in 2014 by Roddy O’Donnell for an appearance at the festival, had since become instantly recognisable by festival goers, being played in proceeding years.
In 2022, the song was performed live once again by O’Donnell ‘s new band Cuttin’ Edge and after seeing the reception the band went into the studio and recorded the song giving the festival all the rights to the single to raise money for Rock Against Child Pornography and Abuse.
Founded in 2006 and awarded charity status in 2012, RACPA is a hardworking, small team of 100% volunteers, working with and for victims and survivors of childhood sexual abuse, offering support, counselling and advice to help them deal with the long term effects of their abuse. They also offer information and education on the safe use of modern technology to parents, carers and young adults.
They travel via their info van all over the country, attend events and festivals to listen and talk to members of the public, offering help and advice in strict confidentiality. They also have a strong presence on the internet and social media, and can be contacted there via our website, Facebook and Twitter.
RACPA receive no funds or grants and finance their work via the sale of merchandise, donations and fundraisers. For more information please click here.
You can check out the single on Spotify. The video was produced by Rob Morgan features footage from Beermageddon Festival and you can watch it right here at RAMzine.

Always there with a friendly smile and ready to chat providing an invaluable service with their trained counsellors available to assist the metal horde, be it with advice on keeping young people safe, helping victims of abuse become survivors, or even just being a friendly ear for anyone who may be feeling down at the event.
Beermageddon will return on its 12th year over the August Bank Holiday weekend 2024 at Stoke Prior Sports & Country Club with four days of hard and heavy metal. For more information go here.
