Atlanta’s genre-detonating collective The Callous Daoboys are back with ‘Gigantic Parasite Tongue’, a blazing new single and the first new music since their acclaimed 2025 album, I Don’t Want to See You In Heaven.
The track’s unsettling video, directed by Sam Hahn, follows a modern angel who is kidnapped and subjected to a brutal ritual, his wings torn away in a desperate attempt to transfer divinity to another. It’s a haunting departure from their earlier visuals and perfectly matches the intensity of the music.
Carson Pace offered a characteristically bold take on the track, simply saying it’s going to change the world, while Dan Hodsdon likened it to Meshuggah performing ‘Future Breed Machine’ live at Download 2005.
The Callous Daoboys have a packed year ahead. A North American tour supporting Arm’s Length kicks off on April 21, followed by European headline dates and festival appearances including Tuska, Resurrection Festival and Roskilde over the summer. UK fans will want to circle November in their diaries, as the band joins Enter Shikari and Holding Absence for an arena tour hitting Nottingham, Cardiff, Hull, Glasgow, Manchester, and two nights at London’s Alexandra Palace.
